From the Inside-Out

Your light will shine when all else fades.

From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea,
Creation's revealing Your majesty ,
From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring,
Every creature unique in the song that it sings,
All exclaiming...

Those sudden memories
Tuesday, September 28, 2010 @ 2:45 AM

Flashback:
It was late into the night and I suddenly woke up with a start. Sleeping beside me was my grandmother. The civics and moral education lesson tomorrow appeared in my head. Did i pack my textbook? Did i leave it at home? I was so worried that tears started forming in my eyes, rolling down and wetting my pillow. The soft sobs woke my grandmother. She sighed somewhat irritatedly, sat up without a word and walked out of the bedroom. She switched on the living room lights, where my bag was. "Find it, and go to sleep." Opening my bag with trembling hands, I realised the dark blue textbook was indeed there. I closed my bag and sheepishly walked to my bed. Lying there, I gradually cried myself to sleep.
I miss home.
